Hi Greg,

I guess there are two ways about this, you either use the default mode
of the server or you use the mode you think works best and make sure you
tx rsid. When the server receives the rsid it will switch to the mode
you have selected and ack your position. 

Regarding the wiki its a manual process of updating it so its up to the
server admins to make sure its correct. Perhaps we should have the
servers update a page automatically instead?

Regarding psk500 I know you have restrictions, someone refered to it as
living in a "technology jail". But, PSK250 is good and PSK250R is
actually excellent. PSK500R has roughly the same throughput as PSK250
and is very robust, it decodes with very little signal present. Since
switching to the robust modes the server hears traffic almost through
the night.
