Victor,

normal start sequence: 1. fldigi 2. jpskmail
normal stop sequence: 1. jpskmail 2. fldigi

You can monitor the frequency running  fldigi only....

On jpskmail 1.0 (to be released in the next days) you can click on the
'listening' indicator
to start monitoring. The monitor shows all undamaged packets on the terminal
screen...
Default mode is PSK500R.

Hello Rein,

Thanks for the reply, I think the radio QSY is correct, working on the dial
being 10.146 and 1k tone making RF QSY 10.147, and I checked it's USB, that has
caught me out before ;-) , I have just upgraded to the latest jpskmail 0.9.3
and fldigi  3.21.11, it has been running on receive only for a few hours with
no decode, so since your email I decided to close the programs down and re
start them, I closed fldigi, then Jpskmail, when Jpskmail closed, my W7 PC
crashed !, so I do not know what program killed it, other than tightvnc there
are no other programs running, I think I need to do some more experimentation.
I will try running each program individually for a few hours and see if I can
make it happen again.

Is there a recommendation as to what should be closed down first?, maybe I
closed down in a different order this time.

As I am currently remotely controlling the PC, I did not see any information
that may have been available when it failed, I will investigate further when I
am next to the PC, I can not restore the connectivity now.

Thanks for all your help.

Regards

Vic
