Hm. Tested with my latest version and the opml file sent for the first time. Load ok, almost everything was cached, exit prssreader, start again, took very long time to start, but it started ok => can not reproduce it. BUT: can you try it again with the latest beta - 3.7 (see http://pda.jasnapaka.com/prssr/beta/ - special builds section). If the problem persists, clear the log file, turn on logging to level 7, make it crash and then send me the generated log file again. And additional info: hang means that the whole device hung or only pRSSreader?
