I have the same error message : 'pRSSreader.exe' is not a valid Pocket PC 
application." 
application installed with active sync or directly with cab file.
I downloaded files twice (7h am and 12h am France), and I have always the same 
error

Spoke too soon.
 
I get the same error message now.
 
"'pRSSreader.exe' is not a valid Pocket PC application."
 
I will uninstall and re-install tomorrow and retry.

Installed without a problem on my PPC6700 (WM5) using the .exe (from my XP).  
The site manger is working very well.  Able to add single feeds and delete 
single feeds.  This is a great addition!  I will play with this some more, but 
it looks like it is now my primary RSS reader (over smartRSSPPC).  If I 
encounter bugs, I'll let you know, but out of the gates it looks great!
