Hi!
When I saw the video about iPhone and its interface, I told myself this
would be nice to have in pRSSreader and I was thinking on complete GUI
redesign. But I realized that this is not easy to implement. It would be
pretty time consuming. So, I decided to invest my time in pRSSreader
1.4.0 that will have all the features as 1.3.x + the new features that
users were asking about.
I designed the GUI to allow user to either use stylus or HW keys (also
soft-keys if they are available). The next feature of GUI should be,
that one can navigate with only one hand (not finished yet).
For the near future, I plan to implement appearance. Then after setting
larger dimensions for some GUI controls, one should be able to navigate
with finger. Well, it is not iPhone-like, but I do not have manpower to
implement glass effects, animations, etc. These things would only slow
pRSSreader down.
I plan all this navigation for "summary view" (list of channels), "feed
view" (list of items in a feed) and "article view" (detail of a article).
