[prssr-devel-ml] Bug report : HTTP Proxy Basic Authentication

Version :

1.3.1.beta1 VGA, previously tried 1.3.1 & 1.3.0

PDA :

IPAQ HP4700 running Pocket PC 2003

Issue :

Overriding the connection manager (as it does not seem to support http
proxy basic authentication), setting :
        Type = HTTP 1.1.
        Host = correct settings for my proxy
        Server Needs authentication = checked
        User Name & Password = set.

When trying to retrieve, it fails with the following error :
        "Bad Authentication Response"

If I use the connection manager, then I get an error that the proxy
requires authentication. I use the same proxy settings in the latest
avantgo and it works correctly.


I really wish connection manager supported authentication!
