Yeah - indeed, ad hoc one-off CS bonuses for particular combats in
particular circumstances is not unusual -
ther'es probably at least one in every book - so maybe these errant
sections of Books 13, 14 and 15 are just the Bow equivalent?

3. leave as is and make a footnote saying "the bonus is usually +3, make
your own mind up". perhaps in that particular case its an easy shot if
youre a grand weaponmaster with a bow and so you get a higher than
normal bonus (a bonus on your bonus).
