I've mocked up another version, it's still just a few ideas thrown together.
It takes
the aged metal look, uses embossing for the font and restores the "Army" font
for the
book text. Of course it's still a very rough version (I think this version's
too dark),
but I'm still trying to get opinions on the best solution.
