If we want to make the original text available optionally sometime in 
the future then it might be easier to introduce a new tag which supports 
multiple alternative texts. For the illustrations we are already doing 
something similar.

With a bit of HTML5 it would even be possible to switch on-the-fly 
between the different variations. But we should probably first publish 
all books before we go crazy with cool features. :-)
