I will need to download it, so thank you Sina.

No problem, I'll host it, if someone else wants to link to it, ok?

Someone email me so that I can provide you a method by which to upload it.

Take care,
Sina

ouch, ok, I don't have that much space, whew, there is a place out there
which is supposed to provide that kind of size, but I'm afraid that the URL
for it is on my inoperational backup drive, I'll look, and if I find it I'll
let you know.

take care,

A yes it is large. I think it is about 2 GB ... if you know of some
server which will provide this space for free we can use it to store
the machine. It doesn't need to support php or anyother thing, it just
need to have the space.
If one downloads it, it is necessary only to go to vmware server open
menu and point it to the vmx file. Then the machine can be powered on
and accessed via a already set up ip address with a already defined
password.
There're several ready to go virtual applianses with linux installed,
but the main problem with them is the ip address, because one would
need sighted help to set it.

Marlon, how large is this package?

I might have space for something like that if its not to large a monster,
smile.

vmware player will let you run an already configured virtual machine
and vmware server will let you create, configure and run pre
configured virtual machines.
Vmware server is more accessible and powerfull, and it is also free.
I am working on your instructions Teddy, give me a little more time. I
was looking for server space, cinse I then could post my virtual
machine with slackware already installed and configured, then one just
need to download it and run it in vmware server, but I didn not find
any free server with enough space...
Anyways I hope you understood the differences ... I don't know about
vmware work station.
