virus?

"Hi dummy" -- that is what popped up on my computer just a few minutes ago.
I fear I have contracted a noxious infection. Does anyone know of a worm or
virus with this behavior? -- i.e., putting up a window saying "Hi dummy"?
I don't know what else it is doing. The system seems to be running fine
otherwise.
Any info is welcome. TIA
