My understanding is like Rick's -- one can reduce but not eliminate the
problem. Hiding the error window does block it from recurring while one
is coding and the IDE automatically notices errors. After one rebuilds
the program, however, I think the error list starts popping up again until
it is made to hide again. A script hotkey in the JAWS scripts makes it
possible to hide it with a single key combination (Alt+Shift+H).
This situation is frustrating because it was the number one usability
problem reported to Microsoft with VS2005 by screen reader users. If
there is truly a persistent solution, I would be glad to be corrected,
and so request specifics on the settings involved.
