RE: the new laptop:jaws issues

Is that the only jaws ver u have on hand? See if there's later updated
drivers for your card. I use outlook 2003 here and after turning of the
preview pane it works good... Do you have any tray icons or something set to
flash window on a certain action, sometimes these icons cause jaws to repeat
text over and over or lose focus.

I have the drivers that came with the laptop.
6.00.290 is the version of outlook.

Hello list,
I just got my new laptop, and was working on writing a message here about
it, when I noticed a problem.
I haven't noticed this problem before, but with some edit boxes, I can't
arrow up or down.
I'm using jaws 9, with xp pro.
This is mainly happening in Outlook Express, notepad seems to be working
great.
Your ideas would be great, I'd like to get this fixed if possible.
