Jamal, I know you've been working w/markdown& text2tags or whatever
that's called. What I really think would be so cool is to be able to
enter these markdown symbols in your document (a choice as to your
default markdown language could be included in the config file) then
have a keystroke wherein u could view the results in your browser. A
program called Write Monkey has this feature,& also allows w/that
same keystroke to choose whether u wanna view it in your browser or ms
word. That would be so awesome!
For those who don't know, these lightweight markdown languages can be
used to produce very nice looking documents w/o knowledge of html&
w/o needing ms word. This is great for those who don't have word, for
those like myself who do a lot of work on a netbook& for whom word is
slow& flakey,& for those who wish to produce simple formatted
documents but who don't know html, or who just hate counting< > & /
signs.
Also, as u undoubtedly know, there is another of these markdown
languages called 'textile',& I think it produces very superior
results.
Just a suggestion,& I personally thank u for everything u do to help
the blindness community. Your dedication is unparalleled.
