Try reinstalling/repairing internet explorer either from add windows
component wizard inside add/remove programs or from the setup from
microsoft.
your internet explorer might have been compremized.
If you think the problem has recently started to unfold, you may also
try system restore to the date you believe that the problem was not
there till that time.
