Hello all 

I am sure this was asked before but I am starting a python course.
Wondering if anyone can recommend a python editor/
interpreter that works well with either jaws or window eyes.

  Sure. For sound output, you could use either wx python or my favorite
pyaudiere. http://www.pyaudiere.org/ There are some examples of playing a
sound on that site.
