Re: [program-l] Learning Python third edition anyone?

I decided to by the PDF mentioned below and can report that it is
accessible (as much as PDFs without special tagging can be ...).

FYI -- What used to be called Python 3000 is nearly out now. The
Python.org web site has the final beta of Python 3.0 and 2.6 (a
transitional version between 2.5 and 3.0). Although Python tends to be
more challenging for screen reader users than other dynamic languages
because of its indentation requirements, I am impressed at how its release
schedule is maintained and how well organized the community is. Perl and
Ruby, on the other hand, are well behind the original timelines envisioned
for their next major revision (one that breaks compatibility to create a
better language).
