However, snort can be used as a packet sniffer. You can then log the packets
to a database.
As regards packet sniffers, the only really accessible one I have found is
tcpdump.
Programs such as wire shark which is actually ethreal, cannot be used with
any screen reader at least in windows because no screen reader so far
supports the GT K. This is the cross-platform GUI front-end that these
programs use.
