draikes@xxxxxxxxxx last time I had contact with him was oracle's
accessibility contact. I once had java and oracle loaded onto a
computer and went out in search of tutorials. I found one done by a
university and tried it and found accessibility lacking. Having
contacted oracle, I learned that what I had attempted took me into an
area of oracle that wasn't yet accessible. In fact, what had been
figured out at that university oracle's accessibility contact hadn't
heard about for the 15 years he had worked for Oracle so hadn't tried
it. This was a few years ago so hopefully things have improved since
then. Oracle forms unless you have and can use jaws 4.5 will be
inaccessible. Reason is all oracle can provide is the binary jaws
support for oracle forms and they don't have the source code anymore for
that binary so cannot distribute it. If they did have that source code,
it's possible though not probable oracle forms would be accessible on
subsequent versions of jaws. Apparently the source code was lost, maybe
oracle couldn't stash it in any of their data bases.
