  Hi:
You mean the Error List that pops up while you are trying to type in a code
editor?
There is an option in the menu>options under the editors branch that will
allow you to turn it off supposedly. However, I found that after you use the
Error Window once it pops up and grabs focus anyway but is often blank. I think
I set it as a tabbed window somehow under the Menu>Windows tab. It doesn't show
up as a window but if you have it up you might be able to set it as a tabbed
item. Then you can close it with ctl+f4, at least in Windoweyes I think I did
it that way. It's been a couple of years since I messed with setting it up so
don't remember exactly what I did.
There is also the Intellisense which pops up and can be turned off if you
want but is a valuable tool I've not yet used.
One more thing while I remember it, if your IDE slows down over time you
can delete the appropriate settings file which will fix that. VS will build a
new one automatically. You may lose your options or window settings and have to
redefine them, don't remember, but it was sure worth it to have the IDE working
faster. Let me know if this happens and I'll walk you through that one.
I use to code large blocks in notepad, full screen, then paste the code
into the class or whatever I was working in in VS. Then I used the Error list
to double click an error and fix the problem in the editor. After double
clicking an error I was put into the editor on the line which caused that
particular error.
If you get stuck post up and I'll dig into my settings.

      Hello,
Is there a way to make 2008 express work with jaws? the listbox is going
nuts on errors.
      Thanks,
