looking for books... still

Hello,

Previously I wrote in asking about some books on OS and compilerdesign; I still have yet to find anything. I did a bit of searching onbookshare but didn't find anything; I would just pay the $50 for thesubscription for those. Is there any other way I could find what Ineed? Help would really be appriciated.
