help with sound recordning

Hello.
I'm planning to record a radio show.
I got two soundcards, one audigy 2zs, and an integrated realtek soundcard on
the motherboard.
The recording works fine with the audigy card, but not with the oter one I want
to use.
Is there anything I must do in order to get recording to work? I've set the
corect settings for recording volome, mic in, etc.
