creating an alarm clock in mfc

Does anybody know of a tutorial for something like this? I want to make a
calendar type of thing in mfc but am pretty new at vc++ 2005. I need to know
if there are any lists of "how do i" tutorials for mfc and stuff... I tried
to do a google for it but keep coming up with the wrong things... any ideas?
