You might want to check out how the Levelstar? Icon PDA works as I believe its using this type of setup.

Hi all,
This is strictly theoretical, but could one get a pda processor, ram, motherboard and such and put linux on it, then write programs for that device? If so, how do you compile the programs for the mobile processor and ram, and what language is used?
