RE: c++ ide for windows

Hi,

Hmmm… I only worked with Visual Studio; there the compiler messages are
presented on a text window (along with error numbers). Try using Virtualize
Window (CTRL+JAWS Key+W), find the error message and try copying it here.

Cheers,

Joseph

Yeah, I could give you the message, if you tell me how to see if I've got one.

I can't find one in dev c++

Hi,

It could be caused by multiple factors – not including something that the
program needs, syntax 9unlikely) or scope errors. Could you mind give us the
actual message that your compiler gives you so that we can troubleshoot it?
Thanks.

Cheers,

joseph

Hello!

Ok, now I've installed this, and I tried to run a program, but I only get a
warning about that the source file didn't compile.

I've written a working program.

What can be wrong? I can't see any errors

There's also Dev-C++ which works with JAWS. It works with MinGW, and not
Windows SDK like Visual Studio.

Hi,

You can use free Visual C++ Express (using JAWS scripts or other config files
for your screen reader). Or, if you want, you can try out Visual Studio (any
edition).

Joseph
