And what about the tons and tons of spam that seems to be getting in my blog?
That’s probably killing me as well. Mojo portal though, unfortunately, isn’t
supported by a lot of the spam filters out there, well at least not by Akismet
anyway. I’m going to be talking to the leader of the project about that though.

In addition, if you submitted a site to a search engine manually, but then
didn’t get quality backlinks to that site, then you probably wouldn’t be listed
very high in the search results, even though you may actually be listed there,
despite having no referral links. Also I should have said in my last message
that bad backlinks can hurt your site perhaps even more than good backlinks can
help it. For example if you have a link coming from some known spam site or
link farm (a page meant to do nothing but have links on it) then it will,
instead of increasing your pagerank, decrease it. So be warey of that.

What do you mean by quality backlinks? This concept is very new to me, and I’m
trying to get good search engine optimization without paying thousands and
thousands of dollars for it. I know that there are ways to manually do it, and
so that is what I am trying to do.

Hi,
I don’t know what you mean by “webmaster tools is not accessible".” I have used
them to track links to my sites, etc for a while now and they’re quite
accessible (unless something has changed recently). The only things that are
(obviously) not accessible are things like graphs. There are just a few querks
that can be worked around for example to add a site you have to route the jaws
cursor to the pc cursor (assuming you’re using jaws) and then click on it, but
that’s not hard to deal with, at least for me. And on the topic of being
indexed by the search engines, you could add your site, but any good site with
quality backlinks should get indexed without having to manually add it.

Hello all,
I realize now that I should take back what I said about Google and their web
master tools being accessible. They’re not. I’ll tell you that right now. So
what I am wondering is does anyone have any advice on how I can get my site
indexed by the search engines if I cannot add it to them? (I know that using
sighted assistance is always an option, but I would rather avoid that since I
need someone who knows what they are doing). Thanks.
