accessibility of MS SQL

I have already been pestering you guys with my questions about .net. Now I am wondering also about MS SQL. I have some possibilities of getting work with it if I can get the training and if it is accessible.
I have seen some posts here about it in the past. How accessible is it? Is it mostly accessible or completely or just somewhat? I ask because I have worked with some database tools before that were partially accessible. Unfortunately some of the newer features of their UIs were not accessible. 

Any guidance on this would be very much appreciated.
