hi guys, what software do I need to write audio-games?

This might not be completely related, but this semester, one of the teams in my 
HCI course is going to be attempting to create some audio games using the Wii 
and Wii motes. I don't know how it will turn out, but I think they have some 
really cool ideas for it, so far.
