It looks allot like JavaScript syntactically. It uses curly braces to wrap
every dependent code block. It has pretty much the same functionallity as
Visual Basic with a few exceptions. It is translated into IML during the
first compile. I don't know what else to say since I don't use it, don't
like curly braces everywhere. It is a high level language unlike c++.h It
works with managed variables and code by default. It supports DataSets, LINQ
and pretty much all the Microsoft Goodies depending on your version of
Visual Studio. It supports development for Mobile Devices, Sync, Website
building, MVC, WPF and just about any other acronym Microsoft has invented
lately.
You can include Silverlight Projects and there are editors for all the
Microsoft stuff as well as Intellisense for most everything. My language of
choice was Vb.net since there are no Block Seperator curly braces needed, it
uses common English. Vb.net included Indexed Properties and I was already
familiar with VB. I did a few CSharp programs but just did not like the
curly braces nor some of the other more rigid OOP coding requirements.
Anyway, CSharp is a high level language that does everything you would
expect a high level language to do. It looks like JavaScript somewhat and is
more rigid in it's implementation of OOP requirements than Vb.net.
It is developed and tested in the Visual Studio IDE or the CSharp Express
modules that look and function pretty much the same as the basic Visual
Studio IDE.Rick USA

Just what is the "C#" language? I know what "C++" is and I am an
experienced programmer in plain "C" but what on Earth is "C#" supposed to
be?
