Well, in my opinion neither SWING guis with Access Bridge is not very accessible, so MS Access is not a very accessible app also.
But I haven't tested MS Access 2007 so I can't tell, but I can say that neither Jaws versions newer than Jaws 6 are very accessible, not only because they don't read well the special chars in other languages, but because I've seen some pages that were accessible with Jaws 6 but they are not accessible with Jaws 9 anymore.
I have nothing against MS Acces. I've created apps with it, I've even sold apps made in MS Access, so I've earned money with it, but I wouldn't recommend it for something else than very simple and small apps.

Careful saying Msaccess is not accessible I can use Access 2003 fine but 2007 has a lot of accessibility now with the latest jaws. I don't know about the other screen readers but you can support Access 2007 now with screen readers. You can create forms with it, macrosand VBA code.
