Hello Mario.
So I have knowledge about programming, and I am using C++ Programming language, I have and material for Simbian OS programming, and eSpeak is written in C++ programming language. I think that is not so complicate to prepare the eSpeak for mobiles, because eSpeak is a small formant Text-To-Speech, and has not diphone database which can slow the mobile operating system by loading the database.
I am interesting for eSpeak adaptation for mobile OS.
The best regards from Darko.

Subject: TTs for multiple mobile platforms

Hello all.
I think that lots of users know for free and open source Tts called espeak, which is geting localised and developped for lots of languages and platformss including windows, ubuntu linux, mac etc. Since this tts uses very little resources and on the other hand its very responsive, i think that it could be specially interested for users who are not english speakers. i think that there must be the solution of getting espeak to work under windows mobile and symbian platforms. Is there anyone here on the list who is interested and who could try to convert espeak for those platforms? I could help as much as i can.
Regards.
