Hi Sina,
I did that, but when data scrolls off the screen, the whole screen talks. Can
you get around that and make it talk like a command line window, where all you
hear is the current stuff that comes to the screen? I'm experiencing the issue
in Vista in case it matters, with JAWS 11.

Putty
You do have to change aline in default.jss, but then it'll be fine.
Take care,
Sina

Subject: SSH and PUTTY Accessibility
I am now on the data warehouse team which is a better match for me. We are
trying to see if we can overcome the accessibility
problems so I can take my turn being on call. Is SSH or Putty more accessible
with JAWS in accessing a LINUX system from windows.
We installed SSH 3.2 but it is a trial version and I am not sure how much the
commercial version cost or even where to purchase it.
When I try to go to their website most of it is in a different language. Is
PUTTY free or is there also a cost after the trial
version?
I appreciate any information anyone has on these issues.
I am using JAWS 11.0 on Windows XP.
