I also use an iPhone a lot of the time but the LG Ally running Android 2.1 that I also have is pretty cool and lots of FLOSS AT is showing up and some of it contains some pretty innovative concepts. For now, at least, I would recommend Android phones that have physical keyboards as a pure touch screen running Android isn't really usable with a screen reader.
