Re: MySQL Won't Start On Windows

James,

Have you looked in the Windows Event viewer or Application logs?

Subject: MySQL Won't Start On Windows

Hi,
In Windows, when I go to Control Panel > Services and attempt to start the
MYSql service, it won't start, but the error message is not very helpful.
Where can I go in Windows to get more information about what might have
caused the problem. I also tried the same thing using the sc command line
utility and it said something like error 2, pending.

Thanks for any and all help.

Jim
