Yes but as others have stated, this defeats the purpose of the uac prompt, which is to check and see which program is trying to access/change system settings/files and view details etc. I experience issues with it sometimes, however this morning I was installing windows7 on a system I just built for a customer, and jaws 11.0.1467 x64 was working fine with every uac prompet! Strange, because this same version has casued me issues on other systems... But it's no excuse, these things should work correctly, specially if you're claiming that there's full windows7 support. But as I stated in my other message, I've seen this behaviour in vista as well. Generally, this is not a problem if you only have one account on the system as the login screen usually will have your name highlighted if you didn't set a password at which point you would just hit enter. Otherwise, your name would be highlighted and you would hit enter and type your password and press enter.-just hit Alt+y for 'Yes' and the installation should continue. As far as a process beginning at the login screen and then re-initializing itself after logging into the account-that has to do with the security protections of Windows 7. JAWS needs to run in an elevated rights mode in order for it to access the login screen and then reload itself into the users account at the privilege level of the user of the system. And for one reason or another, it starts some sort of new process on login, then restarts itself after you log on.
