Please define "space". Bandwidth?
Yes

How many of the mail users care these days about the bandwidth?

Yes of course, but unfortunately it is the most accessible email client and this is much more important for the blind users than the fact that it uses a so big header.

What's wrong with thunderbird + my scripts that I worked on for a few hours?

It is wrong the fact that it is not very accessible with Jaws 6.0 that I must use for the reasons I explained for many times on the list, and it is also wrong that you need to work for hours to create those scripts which I don't like. A few years ago I was creating Jaws scripts for many apps for making them even more friendly, but now I don't like to lose that time anymore.

Not exactly. The Linux users should create their own mail client that respects the Windows standards, because those are followed by the majority of users.
Well, then nothing will change. Maybe our style is far better?

"better" or "worse" is subjective, so we don't have anything to discuss about this. What's better for all Linux users, is probably worse for most Windows users, and that's why they are using Windows.

Anyway the linux style is better. and you know it.

Why?

- Shorter mails

We can write much shorter mails with Windows and Windows common mail clients if we want, but it seems that most of us don't care too much about this, because if the older messages are below the text we need to read, they don't hurt us.

- Easier to follow if you haven't read all the other posts

I always read all the other posts, or I delete all the messages because I am not interested in the current thread.

- Not as big

You repeat yourself.

- Less typing

I don't understand. Why less typing? Does Linux offer a keyboard that type full words?

etc

Oh, etc also?
You could add a few more etc to seem to be more advantages...
