Hi Sharon: I use Microsoft's Visual Basic and their Visual Web Developer to
program in. They are free and there are scripts for JAWS to make them work
better with that screen reader.
There are allot of tutorials and books to learn from.

  Subject: Intro, and Question

  Hi!

My name is Sharon Hooley. I've been on this kind of list a long time ago,
and I'm glad to be back!

I'm interested in learning some simple programming in Windows. My first
question is, with all the names of programming languages and tools out there,
like Python, Pascal, visual Basics... how do you decide which one you want to
learn? Is there a place where I can read descriptions, like what they're good
for, and are there free tutorials on any one of them I might choose?

  Thanks!

  Sharon
