RE: Important: Direction

Hi Elf.

As far as I can tell, and I've been on both lists for a number of years
the guys on that list are very much like the guys on this list.

As has been said the tone is a little different, seems more focused on
programming, less general enquiries but jokes have been posted before
and weren't squashed, web development questions and the like have been
asked and answered and there are some very knowledgeable and experienced
people on that list.

What does worry me a little is that no information has been posted on
program-l about this merge.

As said in a previous post, I don't really mind either way, but I don't
see it as losing a community. The community will still be there, just in
a different place and with some more members.

Just my thoughts.

resources like sena and/or myself, you close this list and/or combine
them with those other folks, and I'm gone, totally and completely no
