Wasn't aware that Jeff ran off anyone else? Either way though, just telling
it from my point of view. Simon's Games has been going since ... urm, 2004 I
think it was, with no problems at all thus far. If we've had downtime it's
been minimal.

uh, I recommend a dedicated server for web hosting. and not running off
someone else, who in turn is running off someone else, who is running off
someone else... might be a bit frustrating when you need to get things
fixed.

This is where I wish I had an affiliate scheme going lol. In all
seriousness, I recommend the host that hosts my sites.
http://www.ultrahost.us. A range of packages as far as hosting is
concerned, you can set up the domain and register it on site, and the
customer service is fantastic. You dont' even have to know html to set up
your site, what with packages such as drupal, wordpress and others
available with the package you get. Take a look see yourself.
For examples, (there are others), but my two sites,
http://www.simonsgames.com and http://www.art-of-woodworking.com. Also I
think blind programming itself is hosted there as well isn't it Jim?
Let me know if I can give any more info.
hth,
Cheers,
Simon

All,
Hoping someone can point me to some documentation or a host. I have a
friend who is wanting to start an internet based business. We need to
find out how to purchase a domain name and get some space on a web host
somewhere. Any pointers would be helpful.
