Like I said. Bing just defaulted to my homepage, so I just keep it and like it.

I'm trying to make a point here. You just made a comment that -bing- is
accessible, which kind of leads the reader to believe that in your oppinion,
Google is not. Now you finally decide to make the point that you haven't used
Google much, but the times you have deemed to stoop to such a level as to use a
non Microsoft site, it -was- accessible.
You throw around facts trying to support X or Y when your facts clearly have no
backing, because you end up having to agree later, as in this case. I applaud
your loyalty; there are some instances where Microsoft tools are nice. But I
would appreciate it if you didn't shove bias opinions with no actual proof down
people's throats as a result of that loyalty.

Sure I have. And by the way, care to shove the nail in further? And I just
happen to land on Bing I think, and I've just used it ever since. I do use
google sometimes, and I don't have issues with it either.

You clearly missed a class in logic. Have -you- used google? with or without
google instant off? With what reader? What was the problem?
I use it daily with Jaws and NVDA (without toggling that instant deal), and I
have no problems.
I think this comes down to your idea that we should all toss our shovels in
favor of wooden picks, as long as the wooden picks have Microsoft engraved
somewhere on them.

C'mon, Ty, she's a Microsoft fangirl! And one of the most ardent ones I've ever
come in contact with, to be sure. But, hey, if your tools accomplish the tasks
and all that...

Typical of this damn computer and Windows Vista. Junk appearing and functions
changing randomly.
I am on google many times a day and haven't looked at my cookies in months!

If you don't turn it off, Google tries to guess what you are searching for.
And you won't necessarily hear what is being added to your terms before you hit
enter.

There seems to be a new link asking users of screen readers to click to turn
off Google Instant what ever that is. I haven't seen that before today.

The google accessible search interface, which was here:
http://labs.google.com/accessible/
is now gone/inactive, and when looking for reasoning, I found the following
blog related to google's labs development/experiments, so seems will just have
to go back to using the normal google search for now...:
http://googleblog.blogspot.com/2011/07/more-wood-behind-fewer-arrows.html
Pity, since the accessible search interface was quite a bit cleaner, and also
ranked search results a bit differently based on the 'cleanliness' of their
content, but anyway.
