Hi Chris,
I'm not sure what you are meaning. I don't hate my account name, I hate the fact that GMAIL won't let an original post to a mailing list come to the original sender. I like to see it come across so I know for certain that my post made it.

Hi,
If you hate this idea, why not change your account name with the word
recent:, that's recent with a colon, in front of your username? I don't know 
what e-mail client you're using, but you can change it through your
account's properties. Just a thought.

I haven't read the earlier posts on this but if you are using G Mail then
that is why.  G Mail supresses posts from yourself so you won't see your
own.

I hate it but that is how they have it setup.
