IDEAL Item ID Label Maker feature added to IDEAL Item Identifier

HILLIARD, OH August 14, 2010 - IDEAL Group Apps4Android, Inc. announced
today that it added a "Talking Label Maker" feature to their open source
IDEAL Item Identifier Android application.

According to Steve Jacobs, President, IDEAL Group, Inc., and CEO,
Apps4Android, Inc., “IDEAL Item ID Label Maker enables Android
smartphone users to make a recording and then send an email containing a
QR code to themselves. The QR code can then be edit-copy edit-pasted to
an appropriate-sized label and then printed our for use. When the QR
code is scanned, it will play back whatever you recorded. This new
feature means that "talking" labels can be made on the fly. Users can
then create QR code labels/folders in their email to save and easily
recall/reprint previously recorded QR codes. The process used for
creating these labels renders each label self-identifiable."

Item ID Label Maker can be used to minimize confusion taking medications
by helping patients understand and follow important instructions. It can
be used to generate labels that describe packages of food that are not
already labeled, pieces of art at an art museum, and detailed
information about anything that you wish to affix a QR code to. The
length of the recording that plays when scanning the Item ID Label
Maker's QR code can range from a few seconds to hours. It all depends
upon the capacity of the size of the SD card installed in a user's
Android smartphone.

Instructions for using the IDEAL Item ID Label Maker may be found on the
following website:

Jacobs further stated, "We hope this new open source enhancement to
IDEAL Item Identifier helps a lot of people."
