I've done a little with Flex 2 and flash 9. I use the -accessible to
compile. It compiles some additional info into the SWF file. So it will
take a longer time, of course, for someone to view the flash the first time
through. I used the command line compiler to make the SWF file.
My work just had a grid and some static text. You can click on the headers
of the grid, with the jaws cursor, and reorder the grid. I am able to
navigate the grid, however, The static text did not read. Unless I
navigated with the JAWS cursor.
Sometimes the website does not show anything in the flash player to jaws
unless I tell jaws to refresh.
I will be using it more in the near future, just not at this moment.
HTH.

Subject: Flex 3.0 SDK and accessibility
All,
We have some web pages we are developing and the suggestion has been made to
use the Flex 3.0 SDK to develop the screens with Flash 9. I downloaded the
SDK and looked at it a little. Noticed that there is an -accessible parm on
the compiler but wanted to see if anyone had feedback on using Flex 3 with
Jaws or Window-Eyes.
