Oops! Old jfw syntax is mixing with newer jfw syntax. Yes, that's the applications cursor. -----Original Message----- From: programmingblind-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx [mailto:programmingblind-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx] On Behalf Of Jacob Kruger Sent: Wednesday, May 11, 2011 10:12 To: programmingblind@xxxxxxxxxxxxx Subject: Re: Cursor issues in VS.Net 2008 code editor with jaws app-track? If yes, use the jaws cursor for review and navigation then switch back to the app-track cursor for editing. What happens with the invisible cursor? -----Original Message----- From: programmingblind-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx [mailto:programmingblind-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx] On Behalf Of Jacob Kruger Sent: Wednesday, May 11, 2011 3:10 To: program-l@xxxxxxxxxxxxx Cc: programmingblind@xxxxxxxxxxxxx Subject: Cursor issues in VS.Net 2008 code editor with jaws Dunno when/why this has started occuring, but, just noticed in last day or so that on this windows7 32 bit machine, in the code editor, in VS.Net 2008, using jaws 12.0.1158, and with MSENV scripts installed, if I try navigating around in the code editor, the cursor seems to be jumping 2 characters with each keypress of either left/right, whereas, if I try making use of NVDA therein, it does actually navigate one character at a time. Aside from this, jaws also doesn't seem to want to read all the characters/words if I in fact navigate using ?Ctrl + left/right instead. I did notice that my screen resolution had moved over to something like 1600x1280 at some stage, and also tried moving it back to the more common 1280x1024 now, but don't think that's really relevant, and, BTW, if I switch over to jaws cursor, it does seem to be moving over one character at a time, so it seems to be specific to the primary, keyboard/PC cursorf, and the intellisense is still being read well enough FWIW. Any thoughts on how to sort out a rather irritating thing?
