Subject: Beginner Programmer
Hi,
I'm new to the list, and I hope this kind of question is appropriate for
the list. I'm not a professional programmer. I never majored in comp sci
either, but I took 2 semesters of Java in college and one semester of Java
in graduate school. I also taught myself some web programming like Php,
Actionscript, and Mysql from reading books. I've been writing Java with
Eclipse, and I found it very accessible. I found it fairly easy to write
UI in Java, but I don't like how Jaws interact with Java applications
with virtual cursor. Also, I have to refresh the screen every time the UI
changes.
I want to adventure into C plus plus or C sharp, mainly because there are
far more libraries for music software in Cpp. I'm wondering what is the
best way to approach. I heard there's a script that allows blind
programmer to use visual studio, but I'm not sure where to get it. Also,
is visual studio the best way for blind programmer to approach cpp or c
sharp? I heard it takes long time to write UI in cpp with notepad. I guess
I want to find out what would be the best way to start.
Thanks for all your help.
