I will do it like that for version info and etc, but vs 2005 express doesn't
let you build .rc files.

Firstly, why be anti rc files, how are you going to add version information?
and secondly all versions of visual studio from version 6 have supported rc
files. send me the project off-list and I'll try to help.
Sean.

because the easy way isn't the best way. I'm anti .rc file. lol
Also, vs 2005 or the version I"m using doesn't support .rc files.

Hi Tyler:
Why areyou using c++ code, are you using a doalog-basxed applicationsand
drawing hte menu-bar yourself? why not just use an rc file anddo it the easy
way.
Sean.

Importance: Low
Hello list,
I'm working with a gui that requires a menubar.
I created a global handle that holds all my menubar items, and then added
them with the MF_POPUP flag.
I'm adding items to the menu handles in turn. trying to keep the tree
concept in mind.
I'm not able to get this working, for some reason.
Is there a bit of code that demonstrates how to do this? Would really be
appriciated. Fought with this for a couple hours last night.
Thanks,
