RE: Antivirus for Windows XP Pro

Ken is right about this. i am using it now and found it to be very accessible.
it does spyware, anti virus, firewall, backups and controls start up items.
When the Trojan vundo H hit me it killed my auto up date, sappi, and started the usual weird pops from the browser.
It removed and restored all back to a working state.
one care lets you try it for 90 days and lets you licence it to 3 computers on one license. on thing to make it much easier to use is have everything you use hooked up like networks. that way you don't have to configure them later, and if you have more than one drive hooked up. Shut them down because the first scan will take some time. Then you can turn the rest on and scan at will.

The best I have found for system resources, cost, functionality, and

I have accessibility problems with all the ones I've tried. Currently I'm
using Norton, but the access is so iffy, I feel like I am in the twilight
zone trying to locate and click on things -- I get jaws to speak (jaws
cursor turned on) but when I go to click the thing I want to click on is
gone.
I had mcafee on my other laptop (also xp pro) but it was even worse for
accessibility.
So I'm interested in other alternatives. It annoys me that the developers
can't use standard controls -- i don't think there is a security risk making
the screens more accessible -- or am I wrong?

Hi everyone. Does anybody have a preference for an accessible antivirus
package for Windows XP Pro? The Microsoft One Care has lots of
accessibility issues last time I tried it.

Thanks,
Toms
