I had an old printout from a system test which I did in March 2003, over 2685 meetings and it took 2:40. The same test today, over 4524 meetings took 7:57. By my reckoning, it should have taken just over 4:30. Even if we allow a small leeway for increased database sizes etc, it shouldn't have taken much more than 5:00... Therefore, the test has taken about 60% longer than it should have. Now, there is a lot more written to the CSV file now than there used to be, in particular the Better Rating for each horse, which requires a further calculation and comparison for every horse in each field, so this may have something to do with it. Cheers, Chris. ===== Unofficial Price Predictor Users Group To send email to the list: ppug@xxxxxxxxxxxxx Subscribe/Unsubscribe/Options: http://www.freelists.org/list/ppug Archives: http://www.freelists.org/archives/ppug Help : http://www.freelists.org/help/
