Correct!

every email has a list of headers that are inserted by every single email 
server that the message passes through!  By viewing those headers and 
backtracking them, then you can generally find out exactly where the email 
originated from..... down to the actual IP address of the sending machine!

there is no doubt that a large proportion of the messages that were sent to 
me the other day originated from Internode..... If I had access to their 
billing computers I could even find out the username of the person, but I'm 
not that interested in finding out who... I just want them to stop!

BTW Terry, not every Windoze email program is pathetic.... Just the 
Micro$haft ones!
