Diberitakan bahwa di dataran tinggi pedalaman Papua Barat banyak sekolah SD 
dan SMU yang diasuh oleh gereja Katholik dengan biaya bantuan dari negeri 
Belanda ditutup, karena adanya larangan pemerintah Indonesia untuk menerima 
bantuan tsb..
